Experience
Amy's experience includes:
- complex property matters, including asset pools with multiple corporate and trust structures for high net-worth clients and their families
- parenting matters involving serious allegations of family violence, high conflict parenting arrangements and relocation applications
- asset protection and binding financial agreements for couples who are married or in a de facto relationship (or in contemplation of same)
- spousal maintenance
- child support agreements
- divorce applications
- pro bono matters.
Careeer highlights
Amy's career highlights include:
- successfully obtaining a recovery order from the court, when a client's child was unilaterally removed from the family home by the other parent, in circumstances where that parent was suffering from complex mental health issues
- successfully achieving a costs order for a client, following the court making final property and parenting orders in considerable favour of the client
- advocating for and negotiating on behalf of several clients at alternative dispute resolution events, and successfully reaching commercially favourable settlements without the need for further litigation.

"Thanks so much Amy. Thank you for everything, I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I wouldn’t have pushed through it if it weren’t for you and that conversation we had where I was so scared and just wanted it all to stop and you told me, 'this is the only way to make it stop'."
FAQs
What is involved in a first client conference and what do I need to bring with me?
Our initial conference will last approximately one hour. We will discuss the background of your relationship and provide you with advice on how the law applies to your circumstances. If your matter involves financial issues, we will provide you with an estimated range of your potential entitlements, based on the instructions you provide in the meeting. If you have children with your former partner, we will discuss how the court determines parenting arrangements and what an appropriate parenting regime may look like for your family.
