About Us

Lander & Rogers is a leading independent Australian law firm, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra. We work with private and public sector organisations and individuals across Australia and internationally, delivering practical, commercial legal advice grounded in a deep understanding of our clients’ needs.

We advise across a broad range of practices and sectors, including M&A / Corporate (incl. Competition and Finance), Digital Economy, Workplace Relations & Safety, Real Estate, Construction and Infrastructure, Government, Insurance and Financial Services, and Family & Relationship Law.

We are proud to be marking 80 years of working alongside our clients through change. Over that time, we have continuously evolved, helping clients navigate complexity, manage risk and respond to shifting legal, regulatory, commercial, and societal landscapes. We combine commercial insight, accessibility, innovation and an outstanding client experience with exceptional technical excellence.

Our firm's success is shaped by sustained organic growth and underpinned by a highly cohesive culture built on trust, collaboration and respect. We are known for strong staff and partner retention, reflecting a workplace where people are supported to do their best work and build long-term careers.

Innovation is integral to how we operate and how we deliver value to clients. We actively invest in legal technology (supported by our iHUB team), data-driven insights and new service delivery models, and encourage our people to explore and harness new ways of working. This focus enables us to improve efficiency, enhance and scale quality and respond quickly to our clients’ evolving needs.

While fiercely independent and proudly Australian, we are global in our outlook and connectivity. We work closely with leading international firms on a broad range of cross-border matters and are the exclusive Australian member of TerraLex, the world’s largest global network of independent law firms operating across more than 130 countries (Ranked as an Elite Law Firm Network - Chambers Global, 2025).

Consistent with our values and culture, we are deeply committed to pro bono and community work, environmental responsibility and inclusive leadership. We are also proud to lead Australian law firms in female representation at leadership level (the first firm of scale to reach gender parity at partner level in 2023), reflecting both the exceptional women across our firm and the deliberate choices we have made to support progression, flexibility and leadership diversity.

Our expertise and culture are recognised across the profession and valued by our clients, reflecting our focus on quality, trust and enduring relationships.

As we mark our 80th year, we remain focused on continuing to support our clients' ambitions, investing in our people and leading the market through innovation as an independent Australian law firm.
